Laughter is the best medecine!
Let laughter work its magic and bring you:
- Optimism: Laughing releases the feel good hormones : endorphins that create a positive state of mind and boost optimism, self-confidence and feelings of self-worth.
- Toxin release: The combination of deep inhalation and full exhalation increases the level of oxygen in the body , helping to flush the toxins out of the body and to rejuvenate the organs, leaving you with a sensation of wellbeing and relaxation.
- Immune system boost: Laughter massages the internal organs and promotes circulation to the digestive and lymphatic systems which increases the levels of anti-viral and anti-infection cells.
- Healthy heart: After a good laugh your blood pressure and pulse rate will drop.
- Anti-aging: The facial exercises of laughter reduce wrinkles and sagging by firming and toning facial muscles.
- Emotional release. By enhancing the free flow of emotions, laughter can help dislodge blocked emotions stored in the body that were responsible for physical, mental and emotional problems.
Breathing is the essence of life!
Deep breathing exercises, such as in Qi Gong, will bring you:
- Physical release: Deep breathing has positive effects on the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, endocrine, immune and central nervous systems. It increases sexual vitality, and improves the quality of sleep. It helps reduce or eliminate chronic pain. It also has the power to reverse the aging process!
- Good mood Breath work brings a joyful, relaxed, optimistic and energized state of mind. While the emotional energies of anger, fear, anxiety or grief may still arise, they will not last and will be dissolved within the larger field of joy, gratitude and acceptance.
- Mental and Spiritual benefits. Breath work supports great mental clarity, and nourishes both intuition and creativity. Our connection to the inner body deepens. Our spiritual channels gradually open and we become aware of more subtle realms of Being, and begin to experience our interconnectedness with All-That-Is.
The voice is the source of Self expression
Using your voice during laughter, humming, singing or chanting is very powerful: Sounds can influence brain wave frequencies and promote well-being:
- Reduce stress and improve mood
- Lower blood pressure
- Boost the immune system
- Improve breathing
- Reduce perceived pain
- Promote communal bonding
- Provide comfort
- Motivate and empower
- slows down mental decline
- emotionally builds self-esteem.
Playing because life should be fun!
Somewhere along the way, we forgot our Inner Child who still needs and wants to play!
Playing brings:
- enjoyment, fun, love of life
- relaxation, release of energy, tension reduction
- self-expression
- creativity
- imagination
- social cognition, empathy, perspective-taking
- self-confidence
- self-esteem
- anxiety reduction
- sharing
Life is movement, move to feel alive!
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese healing art involving breathing, and movements designed to improve physical and mental well-being and prevent disease.
Qi Gong will give you vitality as well as a deep inner calm keeping you both stress-free and full of energy.
The exercises increase strength, power and flexibility throughout the body, liberating the spine and training your whole body to move without tension.
Chantal has been practicing Qi Gong for 8 years and learned this ancient art with Master Lee Holden.
Movement means life: when you move you reconnect with your soul , you cleanse your energetic field and accelerate your evolution. Moving freely means being totally present within your body , open to your feelings:
As we move, we are moved. For instance, dancing is a simple way to re-align with our Higher-Self.
Turn your attention inwards and simply let movement happen, harness and unleash the vibrancy of your soul!
